Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Freezer Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling, storing, and moving goods within a temperature-controlled freezer environment while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
  • Load and unload deliveries in a timely manner
  • Store products correctly within the freezer warehouse
  • Maintain stock accuracy through regular checks and reporting discrepancies
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, particularly those related to cold storage environments
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organised at all times
  • Work efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines

Working Conditions

  • Work in a freezer environment (typically -20°C or lower)
  • Physically demanding role involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Picking orders via wrist scanner
  • Loading products into cages
  • Achieve picking and accuracy targets
  • Picking on LLOP truck ( training provided)
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

  • Previous freezer warehouse experience essential
  • Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices

Working Hours:

Rotating:

AM: 6am – 2pm – £16.52

PM: 2pm – 10pm – £17.70

You will be required to work 5 days out of 7 and 1 of these is always a Sunday so a degree of flexibility is required.
