Warehouse Hygiene Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Hygiene Operative to join a busy and well-established company based in South Marston, Swindon.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

As a Warehouse Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the warehouse and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining warehouse areas to a high standard
  • Sweeping, mopping and keeping work areas tidy
  • Cleaning shared facilities
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
  • Supporting general warehouse hygiene and housekeeping
  • Following company health, safety and hygiene procedures
  • Reporting any cleaning, maintenance or safety issues to management

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a good work ethic and a reliable approach to work
  • Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
  • Be physically fit and able to carry out manual cleaning duties
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Previous warehouse or industrial cleaning experience is advantageous

What We Offer:

  • £13.11 per hour with an overtime rate of £19.67 per hour
  • Working hours 08:00-16:30 Monday-Thursday & 07:30-16:00 on a Friday.
