Print Operative

Location: Reading, RG2
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Print Operative to join a busy and friendly team based in RG2, Reading.

No previous print experience is required — we’re looking for someone who is switched on, reliable and keen to learn. Full training will be provided, so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop new skills and build a career within the print industry.

The Role

As a Print Operative, your duties will include:

  • Operating and assisting with print production equipment
  • Preparing materials for production
  • Checking printed materials for quality and accuracy
  • Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch
  • Moving and lifting materials and finished products, which may involve heavy lifting
  • Keeping the production area clean and organised
  • Following health & safety and production procedures

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Switched on and willing to learn
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to follow instructions and work carefully
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • A good team player with a positive attitude
  • Keen to develop new skills
  • Physically capable of carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting where required
  • Previous print, production or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
